Serving Up Fun in the Atlanta Community with PCKL Friday

If you’re reading this, you’re invited to PCKL Fridays — free pickleball open-play at Atlanta Pickleball Center from 2:30-4:30 pm ET.

You can sign up (for free) and join the community here.

More than 200 people from the Atlanta pickleball scene have attended the weekly event that allows you to play pickleball rain or shine. It’s the perfect way to leave work early and kickstart your weekend with pickleball. Don’t worry, we won’t tell your boss.

PCKL Friday is in partnership with Atlanta Pickleball Center and Pickleheads. The Center gives the PCKL community full access to their 10-court facility, while Pickleheads makes it easy to sign up and see who else is coming.

You’ll also be able to demo the newest PCKL products before anyone else. Most recently, more than 50 players got to test the new PCKL Elite 40 balls, our highest performing ball yet.

The structure of PCKL Friday is doubles open, where a new group of four players comes in after every game. There is also a challenge court, where the winning team stays on the court.

It’s fun to come with your doubles partner so you can see how you stack up against the Atlanta pickleball community. But even if you come alone, there are dozens of players looking to partner up and play.

We’ve seen some people become tournament partners after meeting at PCKL Friday. And we’ve seen the sport of pickleball grow, as it’s an easy way for beginners to learn the rules and play for the first time.

PCKL Friday is making pickleball more accessible for the city we all love.
